A service agreement will be emailed or handed for client to initial and sign before booking services for a particular session.


To secure a date for special occasions, photo-shoots or weddings, a signed contract is required with a 25% booking fee due at the time of signing. The booking fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Please be advised, dates and scheduled makeup times will only be reserved when a signed contract and deposit are received.

To secure a date for a bridal trial, payment is required on or before the trial date.

A start and end time will be agreed by client and Kat Steele Make Up Artist. Each makeup requires a certain length of time to be finished, the usual timeframe is approximately 1 hour per person. When reserving your date, book accordingly. Any additional makeup needs outside contract will only be performed at the discretion of the makeup artist. All persons involved in makeup appointments need to be available at the scheduled time of said appointment in order to not break the contract. All makeup for more than one person must be at the same location and consecutive times (no gaps in between).

If your makeup booking is for 5 or more people and there is a need for an assistant, an assistant will be charged at an additional rate to cover their makeup fees.


Kat Steele Make Up Artist reserves the right to terminate this contract for any non-compliance of terms, contract will become void and all monies given are non-refundable. This booking arrangement cannot be changed after the artist arrives for the appointment.  Appointments cancelled or changed within 90 days of wedding day will not be eligible for a refund on booking fees. This includes cancellation due to self isolation due to Covid 19 and/or contracting Covid 19 yourself or your bridal party, suppliers or venue.

If the makeup artist cancels at any time or be unable to perform her duties for any reason and not be able to find a replacement makeup artist, the deposit paid will be fully refunded within two weeks. Client agrees that the refund of 100% of the deposit is the only liability to Kat Steele Make Up Artist.

Cancellations due to Covid 19

After receipt of the booking fee, If you, the client chooses to cancel Kat Steele Make Up Artist services, in full or in part, whether before or after the signature of this contract Kat Steele shall be entitled to keep the non refundable booking fee paid by the client for all time incurred by the provision of the services.

Postponement due to Covid 19

After receipt of the booking fee, if you, the client elects to postpone Kat Steele’s services, whether before or after the signature of this contract Kat Steele will endeavour to swap your booking fee / contract to your new postponed date, subject to availability. You, the client will not incur any additional charges for the initial swap of date only.


Location of service for the day-of-event will be at the discretion of the client, but there are certain requirements the makeup artist needs to complete the makeup. A table/work area needs to be made available for the makeup artist at said location. Ample lighting, preferably natural light is necessary for services to be performed properly.

Kat Steele Make Up Artist will not be held liable for any injuries that should arise while on location. Remember to wear appropriate clothing to avoid messing up your make up.


A fee will be charged for locations outside of a 10 mile radius of NR6.  The amount will be determined at time of enquiry through the use of Google maps.

All costs for travel to a booked event are to be paid by client. Costs may include, but not limited to: airfare, hotel, transportation and parking.


All brushes, tools and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application. Any skin condition should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist, Kat Steele Make Up Artist from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.


The final balance is due 2 weeks prior to the event via bank transfer as one payment, unless otherwise advised – no exceptions. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) who has signed the booking contract. Acceptable forms of payment are: bank transfer if otherwise advised cash.
